Before TNF
Odysemus has been in New Eden since February 2006, which makes him one of the longest serving capsuleers anywhere in the corp. He started where every Caldari pilot starts, in the State War Academy, and within a week had moved on to Irillia Corporation. Caldari Provisions followed in the spring of 2006, then Casting Shadows that autumn and Freelance Federation Mining and Munitions in mid 2007.
By the end of 2007 he was back in Caldari Provisions, and the record shows him there again in 2017. The 2020s brought Imperial Radionetics, a stretch in the State War Academy starter corp, then THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS at the end of 2023, Project Omega Industries in early 2024 and Deadspace Excavations in December 2024. Three months later he found The New Federation.
Joining TNF
Odysemus first flew with TNF in March 2025 and has been here ever since: 568 days and counting. It did not take long for him to become the corp’s voice. If you have read a TNF announcement, you know the opening line. He starts nearly every one with “Time Appropriate Greetings,” a nod to a corp spread across the whole clock (Salt, Memes and Time Appropriate Greetings). What follows is usually funnier than it needs to be and more useful than it looks. His April 2026 reminder about the yearly paperwork audit was written as a scripture parody, announcing that “a census should be taken of the entire SIGMA Empire.” We are still waiting for verse two.
"you are noticed, appreciated and matter here. We are here today because of everyone here."
Odysemus
The herald
A long line of pilots in this directory heard their first TNF welcome from Odysemus. Anhenka came back “after a break for just over a half-decade.” Cirrus Constitution got “So good that you finally made it over here.” Adama Kanjus, Janwaar, Frank Yeager (who, already being in SIGMA, “knows the song and dance”) and PalmarSiamang53 all got the treatment. oli Padecain arrived under the headline “The Icelandic Invasion continues…”, and AexisKae and Hans Ericson arrived under the one that became a catchphrase: “It. Just. Keeps. Happening.”
His advice to newer pilots is some of the best in the corp. Coming into null, he warned, “you are GOING to get overwhelmed.” The answer:
train the things that make your game functional for YOU, not for us, nor the Alliance. Take it all in stages and ask questions.
To pilots switching alliances he offered: “We’re happy to have you and don’t ever be afraid to ask for help or advice.” In March 2026 he wrote the promotion post for Jekktarr and Lex Ashwari-Thrace, describing one as “A pilot with skill sets that span damn near EVERY aspect of this game. A go-getter. A get-er-doner.”
The calm voice and the chronicler
Before the 2025 move to Catch, with members eyeing their hangars, he wrote: “Remember folks, YOU HAVE TIME. We are not moving under fire.” (Moving House, TNF Style). On 4 June 2025, before the opening battles of the Horde war, the call was different: “These are the types of fights they talk about for years. BE ON THE GROUND FLOOR!” (Front Row Seats).
On 8 April 2026, after the largest PvP battle in gaming history, he posted the message that gave a story its title. It listed everything that went wrong (the crashing, the tidi, a server that never really recovered) and then: “but.. I was there.” His advice for the days after: “Hear, don’t listen.” (Oh Yeah, I Was There).
On New Year’s Eve 2025 he wrote the corp a year in review that opened “Cause holy crap its been a whirlwind!” and credited the Icelanders with changing how TNF fights: “Then came the Icelanders! Murder became massacre.” (TNF’s 2025). In March 2026 he told the membership what makes a corp grow: “Well, its YOU, the members.”
In the fleet
The words come with a killboard to match: 2,958 kills on the TNF record, on kills worth more than 3.9 trillion ISK combined, plus 3 solo kills.
The biggest wrecks are structures and capital ships. He was on two Keepstar kills on 10 November 2025, worth about 238 billion and 191 billion ISK, another on 13 January 2026 at about 255 billion ISK, and a fourth on 21 April 2026 at about 219 billion, the same day as a Sotiyo worth about 99 billion. On 13 December 2025 he was on the corp’s kill of the month, an Avatar titan worth about 181 billion ISK, alongside a Hel supercarrier. On 8 May 2026 came two Erebus titans, about 143 billion and about 142 billion each, plus a Nyx supercarrier.
By the numbers
On the detailed record since October 2025, battleships are the most common victim, 346 of them, followed by 268 cruisers and 216 combat battlecruisers. The Maelstrom tops the list of victim hulls at 212, with 89 Ferox behind it. He has also accounted for 68 interdictors, 26 of them Sabres, 63 heavy assault cruisers and 36 stealth bombers. The record shows 655 kills in 2025 and 1,128 so far in 2026 on the detailed rows.

Where he shines
Words that make people feel at home. He pinned a step-by-step escalation guide for new ratters in June 2025, personally hauled Marri02’s loot home after an August 2025 fight with “Well done, Icelandic Meistarar,” restocked wormhole rolling Sigils for anyone to take on Boxing Day, and in June 2026 offered to “properly refill” the corp’s free shared hangars himself. After the February 2026 ice op he signed off the only way he could: “TNFED 4️⃣ Life!”
