Meet Anhenka
Anhenka came back to New Eden in June 2025 after more than half a decade away, treated the return like a research project, and has since been on 2,471 TNF kills. He also has opinions.

Before TNF
Anhenka has been in New Eden since May 2009. He started in Republic University, the Minmatar starter corp, and his first player corp was Urban Mining Corp. In late 2009 he spent time in the Tribal Liberation Force militia corp, then joined Jotunheimr Productions Ltd., which was home through 2010.
From 2011 the history settles into a pattern built around one name: Native Freshfood, the NPC corp he returned to between moves for more than a decade. The player corps in those years were Bite me inc., Burning Napalm (three separate stints between 2011 and 2013), Hounds Of War, Hard Knocks Inc. and Daktaklakpak., where he spent a year from March 2014. In 2015 he joined Infinite Point, followed by Black Omega Security in 2016, and went back to Infinite Point in 2018.
Joining TNF
He first flew with TNF in June 2025. Odysemus put out the welcome in the new members channel: Anhenka was coming back “after a break for just over a half-decade,” and was busy “feeling out all of the changes to the game and exploring what New Eden hast to offer in YC127!” (New arrivals: summer 2025). It stuck. He has been a regular voice in corp chat ever since, with a habit of noticing the funny side of things.
"Wow, they gave miners a lot of toys when I was gone"
Anhenka
Catching up fast
Anhenka treated the return like homework. When corp mining got going in Catch he asked about yields, and Motty 007 explained how it works: no pressure and no tax. His verdict on the modern game: “Wow, they gave miners a lot of toys when I was gone.” He went on to share tips about gas sites with anyone who wanted to try them (Building a Home in Catch).
In August 2025 he started one of the best threads corp-industry has had. He asked whether spreading planets out was worth the effort, thanked the corpmates who helped with spreadsheets and tips, and after three weeks gave his verdict: “Absolutely worth the hassle to set up.” He also ran an estimate of what ratting earns, roughly 500 million ISK an hour in bounties and reprocessed loot before any faction drops, and shared it in Crabbing in Catch. Builders and Miners borrows from the same homework, including this, from August 2025: “Sheesh, exploration, mining, next thing you know market transactions are going to have a chance to escalate to an opportunity to mug a tax collector.”
In the fleet
Anhenka’s best roam story, as told in Faces of TNF: The Veteran, the Quartermaster and the Edger, is from August 2025, when a roam caught a rather pricey Porpoise. What followed, by his own account, “felt a bit like kicking a puppy”.
In October 2025 he was on a Fortizar, about 16 billion ISK, with Malcolm Galora, MontyGTV and Pict1on. On 22 November he was one of eight TNF pilots on the Bane lancer dreadnought, about 18.5 billion ISK, that was that quarter’s kill of the month, alongside Aralo Meza, ziggy Okaski and others. The next day he and ziggy Okaski caught a capsule worth about 9.1 billion ISK, along with an Archon carrier.
2026 kept the pattern going. In July he was the only TNF name on a Naglfar Fleet Issue, about 7.1 billion ISK, and again on an Athanor later that month. Apostle force auxiliaries fell in June and twice in September (one, two), and a Vindicator went down the same September day as the second one.
By the numbers
- 2,471 kills on the TNF record, past the 100, 500 and 1,000 kill marks
- 439 in 2025 and 417 in 2026 on the detailed record since October 2025
- On kills worth more than 2 trillion ISK combined
- 10 solo kills
Combat battlecruisers are his most common victims on the detailed record (187), then capsules (172) and battleships (110). The hull list is a broad mix: 59 Feroxes, 54 Hurricanes, 53 Retributions, 48 Abaddons and 46 Cyclone Fleet Issues. He has also been on 46 strategic cruisers, including 28 Lokis.
Opinions, firmly held
On loud coalition paint jobs, June 2025: “hideous yellow striped bee themes”, plus one near pure red structure he called “eye blinding” (Paint Jobs and Pride). On asteroid belts, July 2025, when he mourned the days when the number of belts in a system “used to be an important metric”: “Angrily shakes old man fist at sky!”
When Sllice was crowned “new king of Catch” in September 2025, Anhenka delivered his own acceptance speech anyway: “I’d like to thank the Academy for their consideration.” And when TNF started handing out medals, he named his only target: “if there’s a ship spinning one I’m going to win that one. Fight me Aralo.”
