The Icelandic Invasion Continues

"STOP THE COUNT!"

That was MontyGTV on October 16, 2025, the day after TNF welcomed yet another pilot from the same small island in the North Atlantic. "As you may know, we already have about 3% of the Icelandic population in the corp... AND WE ARE GROWING!"1

The newcomer was Fartillery. Pict1on posted the welcome on October 15, Icelandic flag and all: Fartillery was arriving "proudly repping Iceland and bringing even more Nordic firepower to the TNFED crew." The post drew 11 reactions and signed off with a phrase in Icelandic that roughly means "resistance is useless," plus the line every Icelander in the corp now quotes: "The Icelandic invasion continues, and we couldn't be happier about it."

The rest of the corp joined in. Jekktarr answered with a welcome-aboard GIF within minutes, and Killjoy Ender kept it simple: "Welcome!"

How we got here

The Icelanders were already a fixture by then. Back in August, after one fight, Odysemus personally hauled Marri02's wreck loot home and signed off with "Well done, Icelandic Meistarar." In his end-of-year message he credited their arrival with changing how TNF fights: "Then came the Icelanders! Murder became massacre."

They also have the best home-field perk in EVE Online: Fanfest happens in their backyard. When Fanfest 2026 planning started, Pict1on confirmed the Icelanders already had their tickets and would play host. (Here is how that went.)

Still counting

The count did not stop. In January 2026, Odysemus welcomed oli Padecain under a headline nobody needed explained: "The Icelandic Invasion continues..."
