The story

Meet Jekktarr

Fifteen years in New Eden, a decade of it in one corporation, and now TNF's resident Ferengi: Jekktarr runs the buyback, fixes things for the next pilot and turns up on capital kills.

  • 1,795kills on the TNF record
  • 15years in New Eden
  • 1.7 trillionISK in kills he was on
  • 551days in TNF

Before TNF

Jekktarr has been in New Eden since Christmas Eve 2010. He came through Pator Tech School, the Minmatar starter school, and the Sebiestor Tribe NPC corporation before joining his first player corp, The Rotten Tomatoes, in January 2011. He stayed there almost three years.

In December 2013 he joined Echelon Sixteen, and that became home for close to a decade, until January 2023. After that came a shorter run of stops: Deadspace Excavations in 2023, then High Tower of Commerce from October 2023, with Pator Tech School as the waypoint between each move.

Joining TNF

Jekktarr first flew with TNF in April 2025 and has been here ever since, 551 days and counting. He passed his one-year mark in April 2026.

He is part of the corp’s welcome committee in his own way. When the Icelandic arrivals kept coming, he answered with a welcome-aboard GIF within minutes (The Icelandic Invasion Continues). When the winter transfers stacked up, he suggested a rebrand to “The New Excavations” (Word Gets Around), which reads better once you notice Deadspace Excavations in his own history. During the move to Catch he offered to fit corp hauling in around his alliance contracts.

"When I hear the boys talking in discord I feel like I'm with them by a big camp fire eating a fresh kill."

Resident Ferengi

In March 2026 Jekktarr officially took over the corporation’s buyback program, a job members had already watched him doing for weeks. Odysemus later called the result “highly competitive and quite possibly the most competitive buyback in the Alliance,” and said Jekktarr would be working to take it to an alliance level. His own line on being promoted: “I am obsessed with PROFITS!!!!!!” The whole story, Quark GIF and all, is in The Ferengi and the Krabmaster, which he shares with Lex Ashwari-Thrace.

The instinct is to fix things for the next person. When a newer pilot got confused about selling loot, Jekktarr explained the tool on the corp auth site (“Use the tool on the auth it automatically calculates it for you”) and then asked leadership to replace the outdated announcement so nobody else went down the wrong path. By the next morning Motty 007 reported it gone (Day One in Null). In the same thread he and Pict1on added cruiser suggestions so a new pilot could plan his skill queue for months rather than days.

His market sense shows up in industry too. In an August 2025 planetary industry thread, Jekktarr offered what the Builders and Miners post called the winning tip: build what sells in volume, like the fuel block materials, rather than what looks most valuable.

In the fleet

Jekktarr has 1,795 kills on the TNF record, on kills worth more than 1.7 trillion ISK combined, and 12 of them were solo.

The headline kill is a Bane lancer dreadnought on 22 November 2025, about 18.5 billion ISK and the kill of the month in the October to December 2025 roundup. He was one of eight TNF pilots on it, with AmoriA, Anhenka, Aralo Meza, Cirrus Constitution, miki Terona, Pict1on and ziggy Okaski. Earlier that month he was one of five on a Phoenix Navy Issue worth about 11.4 billion ISK, alongside AmoriA, Fartillery, MontyGTV and Pict1on.

Capitals keep appearing on his record. In December 2025 there was a Phoenix (about 4.8 billion ISK). On 25 March 2026 he was on two Minokawa force auxiliaries, one and two, about 6.8 billion ISK each. On 20 June 2026 he shared an Apostle worth about 6.9 billion ISK with Aidon Star, a kill listed in the April to June 2026 roundup. And on 19 September 2026 he was on a Revelation and a Phoenix the same day, worth about 5.0 and 3.9 billion ISK.

The rest of the notable list is varied: a Redeemer black ops battleship in February 2026 (about 2.6 billion ISK) and a Mastodon deep space transport in March 2026 (about 3.3 billion ISK).

By the numbers

On the detailed record since October 2025, battleships are his favourite big target: 122 of them, led by 70 Abaddons, with 15 Megathrons further down the list. Cruisers (120) and combat battlecruisers (110) are close behind, with 45 Ferox among them. He has also been on 59 heavy assault cruisers, including 34 Zealots, plus 48 assault frigates (27 Retributions), 40 interceptors (16 Stilettos) and 36 interdictors (18 Sabres). There are 210 capsules in there too, and 20 mobile warp disruptors cleared out of the way.

Media department

Jekktarr posts corp videos to the media channel, and he is one of the pilots behind the screenshots in the corp gallery: when the corp asked for screenshots for the new tnfeve.com in October 2026, he posted the first batch. He has strong opinions on paint (“that megathron skin is 🔥”, from Paint Jobs and Pride).

He made it to Fanfest 2026 and announced the paperwork milestone in January: “passports came in we official baby.” In Iceland he reported from the end of a lava tunnel while wondering, a little late, whether his casual shoes were going to be a problem (Aralo Meza: “No your fine. Dont need hiking gear.”). Before the trip he had claimed he could out-drink Motty and Pict1on “while dancing with a beer balanced on his head.” The outcome of that claim, as TNF Does Fanfest 2026 put it, remains classified.

His self-assessment from June 2026: “at this point im almost one of the well behaved corp members.”
