Hans Ericson

Before TNF

Hans Ericson has been in New Eden since December 2022, starting in the University of Caille, the Gallente starter school. Within two days Hans had joined Infinite Choices, and after a short return to the university in early 2023, went back to Infinite Choices for most of the following two years. In December 2024 came a move into Industrial Mining and Mayhem.

Joining TNF

Hans first flew with TNF in February 2026, arriving alongside AexisKae. Odysemus announced the pair with a headline that stuck: “It. Just. Keeps. Happening… We. Are. The. Inevitable… The. New. Federation.” (Word Gets Around).

Marauder hunter

Hans Ericson’s killboard has a theme, and the theme is marauders. The detailed record, which starts in December 2025 in the weeks before the move, shows:

• two Vargurs on 29 December 2025, one and another, with a Tengu worth about 2 billion ISK the same day
• a Vargur on 15 January 2026, about 2.5 billion ISK
• a Vargur on 25 January, about 3.1 billion ISK, and another the same day, alongside a Khizriel
• a Kronos on 10 February, about 2.2 billion ISK, listed in Kills of the quarter: January to March 2026

The record is not only marauders: a Charon freighter in January 2026, a Loki and more Tengus in March 2026 round out the list of notable mails.

By the numbers

Hans has 274 kills on the TNF record, 173 of them in 2026, on mails worth more than 189 billion ISK combined. Since December 2025, cruisers are the most common victim class (46), ahead of combat battlecruisers (24) and capsules (21). Confessors are the most frequent single hull at 12, with Omen Navy Issues (9) and Talwars (6) behind them. The 100 kill milestone is already ticked off.

Where they shine

Since joining, Hans has been a regular in the mining channel, pinging the corp when a fresh ore field appears so others can join, and turning up in PvP chat whenever a hostile needs catching (Faces of TNF: Kittens, Kings and Icelandic Meistarar). More in Faces of TNF: The Quiet Professionals.
