The New Federation
Twenty years in New Eden. One family in nullsec.
TNF has flown in EVE Online since 2005. We prefer returning and veteran pilots who are in it for the long haul: we form tight bonds, and the people here are friends first.
Live figures from TNF Auth and zKillboard, as of 2026-10-18.
New to all this?
What is TNF?
The New Federation is a player-run corporation in EVE Online. We exist so that pilots can take on the hardest part of the game together, as people who know and trust each other, instead of alone.
Harrat founded TNF in 2005 and still leads it. Most of our leadership has been here for years. People stay, we consider each other friends, and that is the point.
Corporation
A player-run group, like a guild or clan. TNF is ours, ticker [TNFED].
Alliance
Corporations band together into alliances. We fly with Sigma Grindset, part of the Imperium coalition.
Nullsec
Space with no NPC police. Players claim it, build in it and defend it. Our home is the region of Catch.
Our story
Two decades, still flying.
2005
Founded
A small group of pilots sets up The New Federation to find independence in nullsec, the lawless frontier of New Eden.
The long years
Constant through change
Sovereignty shifts, alliance realignments and wars come and go. TNF keeps evolving without losing who it is.
Shadow Ultimatum
Before Sigma
TNF flies as part of Shadow Ultimatum, one of the alliance homes along the way.
April 2025
Joins Sigma Grindset
A new chapter: TNF moves to Sigma Grindset, a PvP-first alliance within the Imperium.
September 2025
Operation Iron Eclipse
Our Shadow Talon black ops division destroys 3.9 billion ISK of hostile assets in a single strike.
Today
Living in Catch
21 years on, TNF holds space in Catch with Sigma Grindset and is still recruiting.
EVE is a sandbox. Here is what TNF pilots actually do, and what you would do on your first week.
Fleets and PvP
The heart of TNF.
Join big alliance fleets, home defence and small gang roams. Fly a ship from the doctrine list, listen to the fleet commander on comms, and press the buttons when told. Alliance ships lost on strategic operations are replaced 100%.
Shadow Talon black ops
Hunters in the dark.
Our covert division. Cloaked ships jump deep behind enemy lines and strike before anyone sees them coming. Start as a scout and work your way into a black ops hull.
Ratting and PvE
Make ISK at home.
Hunt pirate NPCs in our own systems to earn ISK (in-game money). It funds your ships, and our space stays defended while you do it.
Mining
Calm, profitable, social.
Mine asteroids and ice, often in a group on comms. A relaxed way to earn and to feed our industry.
Industry
Build what the fleet flies.
A 1,000+ blueprint library gives members free copies to build ships and modules. If you like spreadsheets and supply chains, you will be busy.
Logistics
Keep the machine running.
Move goods with our jump freighter and sell loot through the corp buyback, so nobody wastes evenings hauling.
You stupid piece of s**t, you didn't even realize who you sucked off. Now you'll be sucking c**k forever. Ugh, you scum.

Strength in numbers
Part of something bigger.
TNF is a member corporation of Sigma Grindset, a PvP-first alliance in the Imperium. That means shared fleets, shared intelligence and ship replacement for alliance operations.
A single-universe space game run by CCP Games where thousands of players share one galaxy, New Eden. Ships, markets and wars are all player driven, and what you lose stays lost.
What is a corporation, and what is nullsec?
A corporation is a player-run group, like a guild or clan. Corporations join alliances. Nullsec is the part of space with no NPC police, where alliances claim and defend territory themselves.
How much time do I need?
There is no minimum, but we look for people who plan to stay for years, not weeks. Real life comes first. We ask that you join fleet when you are online during a big alliance operation, which is less than once a month for the biggest ones.
Which timezone and where are members from?
We are an international corporation with English as our common language, and members fly across several timezones. Ask on Discord about activity in yours.
Do I need experience?
We prefer returning and veteran players. Under the right circumstances we adopt a small number of new players who want to stay for the long haul. Everyone who joins gets an onboarding buddy, a member handbook and TNF Academy training.
Is it free to join?
Yes. There is no fee to join TNF. You need an EVE account; an Omega subscription helps you fly the ships our fleets use.
Do I need voice comms?
Yes. Fleets run on voice comms, and you need to be able to listen and talk when you fly with us.
Your seat in the fleet is waiting.
Apply in a few minutes with your EVE login, or come say hello on Discord first.
