The story

Meet Janwaar

Flying in New Eden since 2004, Janwaar came back to TNF in February 2026 with a two-character hello and followed it with one of the strongest killboard runs of the quarter.

  • 312kills on the TNF record
  • 22years in New Eden
  • 51heavy assault cruisers killed since February 2026
  • 8solo kills

Before TNF

Janwaar was created in October 2004 in the Federal Navy Academy, a Gallente NPC starter corp. Over the next two decades the Gallente corporation Aliastra and later the Federal Navy Academy served as his between-corp homes, dozens of times, and the player corps in between make a long and varied list.

The early years belong to Archon Industries, Keepers Of The Gate (three separate spells from 2005 to 2007), ClanKillers and Omega Enterprises. From 2008 came the longest era: De Evil Shenanigans, which he joined in 2008 and returned to twice more, with stops at X-Rated and Wrecking Shots along the way, through to 2015.

From 2015 the pace picked up. Roving Guns Inc. (three times), Star Frontiers, Apotheosis., Alpha Bannana, Royal Amarr Transportation and Kontained Chaos all came and went by the end of 2016. Brand Newbros followed in 2017 and again in 2019, alongside Order Collective, Fusion Enterprises Ltd, Paradigm Conflict and Brittas Empire. The 2020s brought Floydism, Extropic Industries, Out of Focus, Game of Drones and Misfits of the Unknown, a long stretch in Pandemic Horde Inc. from July 2023, and Dark Venture Corporation from December 2024.

Joining TNF

Odysemus rang the bell for Janwaar on 8 February 2026: fresh from a short break from EVE and back in Sigma Grindset thanks to xXchochiXx’s nudging. Janwaar’s first post on rejoining was two characters long: “07” (Faces of TNF: Recruiters, Newbros and Vikings). With more than twenty years in New Eden behind him, he needed little time to warm up.

"Welcome back pal."

In the fleet

The first notable mail came on 25 February 2026, a Barghest worth about 2 billion ISK, with an Orthrus the same day. March was where the run really started. On 12 March he shared a Lif force auxiliary worth about 7 billion ISK with Ramsey Lightseeker. On 16 March he was on three black ops battleships in a single day: a Panther and two Redeemers (one, two). A Kronos marauder followed on 19 March, and on 24 March a pod worth about 3 billion ISK, alongside an Ikitursa. Several of those made Kills of the quarter: January to March 2026.

The record kept growing through the year: a Loki strategic cruiser in August 2026, a Pacifier covert ops ship and an Apocalypse Navy Issue in September.

By the numbers

312 kills on the TNF record, eight of them solo, on kills worth more than 335 billion ISK combined. On the detailed record since February 2026, cruisers lead (60), with heavy assault cruisers close behind (51) and command ships (26) high on the list. The Zealot is the hull he meets most, 39 times, followed by the Vulture (20) and the Stormbringer (13). Combat recon ships, logistics and even seven mobile tractor units appear on the list.

Where they shine

Someone vouched for Janwaar once; now Janwaar vouches for others. In September 2026 Silvermen Orti joined TNF on the recommendation of xXchochiXx and Janwaar, which is how a lot of TNF members arrive: someone already in the family vouches for a friend. Janwaar’s welcome was simple: “Welcome back pal.” (Welcome to the Salt Mines).

Milestones

100 kills, passed within weeks of rejoining and now tripled.
