The story

Meet Adama Kanjus

A PvP veteran with twelve years in New Eden came looking for a forever home in a smaller corp. Within a week of his first post in TNF, he was on a dreadnought, a carrier and a 256 billion ISK structure.

  • 270kills on the TNF record
  • 718 billionISK of kills shared
  • 55battleships among the victims
  • 12years in New Eden

Before TNF

Adama Kanjus has been in New Eden since January 2014. The first year was a classic new player’s tour: the Science and Trade Institute and Caldari Provisions, the Caldari starter and NPC corporations, then two spells in EVE University, and short stays with BOVRIL bOREers Mining CO-OP, DeepSpace Manufacturers, Jovian Labs, GeoCorp. and Promethean Laboratories, mostly industrial outfits. Black Storm Cartel closed out 2014.

In March 2015 the history turns toward PvP. Adama joined Licence To Kill and stayed two years, then began a long association with Infinite Point that ran, on and off, from 2017 into 2022, with time in nul-li-fy, Hole Punchers, Sub–Zero, Dreddit and Know-Nothings along the way.

2022 was a busy year: Pyke Syndicate, Pandemic Horde Inc., Percussive Diplomacy, The Icarus Expedition, Dragon., Mandible Inc, Splintered Dreams, 4S Corporation and Ascendance, before Adama settled into Vanishing Point. in October 2022 for the next three years. DanJev United in December 2025 was the last stop before TNF.

That history also explains a moment in the logistics channel. Asking about freight in January 2026, Adama recalled an old corp where “when you blinked it was delivered.” Marri02 promptly sold him on Sigma Grindset’s own freight service, “both cheap and so fast that I honestly don’t know how they do it,” a moment recorded in Haulers, Suitcases and Shopping Trips.

Joining TNF

Adama first flew with TNF in January 2026. Odysemus introduced him as a long-time PvP pilot looking for “a forever home in a smaller PvP corporation,” someone keen on small and medium roams. The welcome arrived bundled with a deployment warning and the two rules every TNF member learns first, “Don’t be a Dick” and “Real Life First,” as told in Ringing in 2026 with Violence.

His own first post on 7 January was a GIF captioned “Meet the new guy,” followed a few hours later by a happier one: “yay i have tags! \o/” Tamanade added the house greeting within hours, “welcome to the mad house!”, and Killjoy Ender and Malcolm Galora gave him the shortest possible orientation: “just go kill as much as possible” and “kills kills and more kills.”

"yay i have tags! \o/"

Adama Kanjus

Straight into the deep end

He took the advice literally. On 10 January, three days in, Adama was on an Archon carrier worth about 6.2 billion ISK, shared with Phoebe Prime. On 13 January came the biggest night of the month: a hostile structure worth about 255 billion ISK, alongside Harrat, Kloria, Motty 007 and ten other TNF pilots, then a Zirnitra dreadnought worth about 8.1 billion and a Thanatos carrier worth about 5.8 billion, all on the same day.

Four days later, on 17 January, he was part of a run of hostile structure kills with Signon Lens, Ramsey Lightseeker and others, including one worth about 7.7 billion ISK and another worth about 6.8 billion, plus two Scorpion Navy Issue battleships worth about 2.3 and 1.9 billion ISK. All of it appears in Kills of the Quarter: January to March 2026.

By the numbers

Adama’s TNF total stands at 270 kills, on kills worth more than 718 billion ISK combined. The detailed record from January 2026 onward holds 159 of them.

The shape of that record is distinctive. Battleships lead by a distance at 55, with 31 combat battlecruisers behind them, and the Maelstrom alone accounts for 45 of the battleship kills. The Hurricane follows at 18. Fighters show up too, 15 light fighters and a handful of support and heavy fighters. There are also two carriers, five interdictors and five logistics cruisers. All told, leadership counts 25 different ship classes killed.

Milestones

Where they shine

Big ships, mostly. Battleships and battlecruisers make up 86 of the 159 kills on the detailed record, and the capital kills he joined in his first fortnight would be a good season for many pilots. The forever home seems to be working out.
