The story

Meet Aralo Meza

Aralo Meza started planning TNF's trip to Fanfest eleven months before anyone boarded a plane. In between, the quartermaster found time for 2,862 kills and a titan kill of the month with no other TNF name on the mail.

  • 2,862kills on the TNF record
  • 1,214kills in 2026 so far
  • 2.4T+ISK of kills he was on
  • 157BISK titan, kill of the month

Before TNF

Aralo Meza has been in New Eden since August 2020. He started in the Imperial Academy, the Amarr starter corp, and moved almost at once to Subsidy H.R.S. By October 2020, after a brief stop in the NPC corp Imperial Shipment, he had joined Ternary Solntse Industries, which was home until July 2022. From there he went to Surreptitious Technologies, and stayed nearly three years.

Joining TNF

He first flew with TNF in April 2025, one of the earliest of the current crop of regulars, and he has been part of the corp’s welcome machinery ever since. When new pilots arrive he is often among those keeping the welcome GIFs flowing (Welcome to the Salt Mines). One welcome turned into a vocabulary contest with Emperor Caligula after Pict1on offered a newcomer a single word over sixty letters long; Aralo tried to decode it through Norwegian and gave up (Word Gets Around). In February 2026 he pointed Dabba Doo to the Fanfest thread.

During the move to Catch he checked in on progress and offered extra help “if we need them” (Moving House, TNF Style).

"When you get to the airport and there is no line, you know its too early."

Fanfest’s quartermaster

Long before TNF descended on Reykjavik, Aralo was already planning it. In June 2025 he drew up the first list of likely Fanfest 2026 attendees, with Motty 007, Kloria and a group of Sigma Grindset friends on it. In August he locked in the dates with a cheerful “Ticket from 13th-18th of May, done.” He counted down the days (“157 days left” in December), voted yes on a TNF flag the moment it was suggested, and asked the important practical question about Motty’s 3D printed keyfobs: are there holes so we can tie them to something?

At Fanfest itself he reassured Jekktarr, at the end of a lava tunnel, that casual shoes would be fine: “No your fine. Dont need hiking gear.” His report from the lunch table: “We are here, beer and food.” And when Motty bought his 2027 ticket at the closing party, Aralo told him it was “time to start to season up for the next one.” The full story is in TNF Does Fanfest 2026, and the nickname comes from Faces of TNF: The Veteran, the Quartermaster and the Edger.

In the fleet

The quartermaster can shoot, too. In November 2025 he was one of eight TNF pilots on a Bane lancer dreadnought, about 18.5 billion ISK and that quarter’s kill of the month, with AmoriA, Anhenka, Cirrus Constitution, Jekktarr, miki Terona, Pict1on and ziggy Okaski. In December he shared an Azbel worth about 30 billion ISK with SadisticSloth and Tamanade, and on 18 February 2026 a Keepstar, about 216 billion ISK, with Frost Ikkala, Kloria and xXchochiXx.

August 2026 was the standout. On the 15th Aralo alone held the TNF spot on a Leviathan titan worth about 156 billion ISK, the kill of the month in Kills of the quarter: July to September 2026. The same day he was on a Nyx supercarrier, about 57 billion ISK, and a Phoenix Navy Issue. The rest of the month added another Phoenix Navy Issue, a Moros Navy Issue and a Zirnitra. In September he was on two Tataras on the same day, one and the other, about 12 billion ISK each.

By the numbers

  • 2,862 kills on the TNF record, past the 100, 500 and 1,000 kill marks
  • 1,214 of them in 2026 on the detailed record
  • On kills worth more than 2.4 trillion ISK combined
  • 6 solo kills

On the detailed record since October 2025, cruisers are the most common victims (278), followed closely by combat battlecruisers (246) and battleships (184). The Ferox is the hull he meets most: 102 of them, then 69 Abaddons and 40 Hurricanes. Heavy assault cruisers, interdictors, command ships and combat recons all appear in numbers.

Odds and ends

He spent summer 2026 hunting new paint jobs, announcing “time to pimp” a favourite hull (Paint Jobs and Pride). He greets a salty kill with “Let there be salt 😄 nice kill” (Salt, Memes and Time Appropriate Greetings). And when TNF started handing out medals, Anhenka named him as the rival to beat: “Fight me Aralo.”
