Meet Pict1on
In New Eden since 2004, a TNF pilot since April 2025, and the Fleet Commander and Director behind a great deal of TNF's PvP, with 2,790 kills on the record and a habit of writing after-action reports as classified dossiers.
- 2,790kills on the TNF record
- 22years in New Eden
- 46solo kills
- 1.3 trillionISK of kills he was on
Before TNF
Pict1on was created in June 2004, which makes him one of the oldest characters to wear the TNF tag. He started, like everyone, in an NPC starter corp, the School of Applied Knowledge, and was out of it within two days. The rest of 2004 reads like an early New Eden roll call: Legion of Doom (twice), The Elite Viking Death Squad, Nemesis corporation, Species 5618 and THE ICE TEAM.
In 2005 he found The Collective, a corp he would come back to more than once, with a stop at The Fated along the way. Cruor Frater followed in 2006, then a long era in Digital Foundry from late 2007, and Coalition of the Crowned Kingdoms from 2010. The 2010s brought Caldari Aerospace Warfare Kiboshers, Dedicated Individuals Conditioned to Kill, a return to The Collective in 2014 and Collective-Company in 2016, with the NPC corp Caldari Provisions serving as a between-corp home. In 2024 came Geimskipa Smidjan Knarr, and in February 2025 Deadspace Excavations.
Joining TNF
Pict1on first flew with TNF in April 2025, and things moved quickly. On 25 July 2025 Harrat announced that Pict1on was officially TNF’s Fleet Commander, and the post drew 38 reactions, one of the highest counts the announcements channel has ever seen (Pict1on Takes the Bridge). In October came promotion to Director. When Harrat returned to the CEO chair in October 2026, Pict1on was one of the directors staying in place, and his reply in corp chat was short: “❤️ WB Harrat, Kloria gets some well deserved rest.” (The Founder Returns).
"Fun/hr is also a very valuable metric, don't get lost in the min maxing isk/hr rat race. At the end of the day it's a game not a second job ❤️"
Pict1on
In the fleet
Pict1on went on to define a lot of TNF’s PvP: weekly corp fleets (“camp and chill or take out some fun concept fleets”) and a February 2026 raid that came home with over a billion ISK of stolen loot. After a night of fights in August 2025 he gave MontyGTV and AmoriA their due: “@MontyGTV @AmoriA GREAT couple of fights duders.” (Faces of TNF: Recruiters, Newbros and Vikings).
The big mails have stacked up. In November 2025 he was on a Bane lancer dreadnought worth about 18 billion ISK, kill of the month. In January 2026 a Naglfar Fleet Issue worth about 10 billion went down with Pict1on alone on the mail, another kill of the month. In May 2026 a Phoenix Navy Issue of about 12.8 billion took the title again. Along the way: a Fortizar in October 2025, an Archon and a Thanatos carrier on the same day in December 2025, a Zirnitra and a Revelation Navy Issue on 10 January 2026, and an Apostle force auxiliary in June 2026.
Before the giant fights of April 2026, he reminded the corp that “Massive TiDi fights test more than your ship, they test your mindset.”
The Shadow Talon dossiers
In September 2025 Pict1on began writing black ops results up as mock-classified military dossiers, complete with executive summaries, “Approved By: REDACTED,” outcome tables and a friendly loss count corrected with a strike-through. Best line: “Collateral Damage: Minimal, mostly morale.” The commendation for MontyGTV’s anchoring compared it to a chess grandmaster reciting Shakespeare. All of it is in Shadow Talon After-Action, and the humour gets its own write-up in Salt, Memes and Time Appropriate Greetings, including his verdict on one very polite insult: “that insult is so british it needs tea and crumpets to go along with it ❤️”
By the numbers
2,790 kills in total on the TNF record, 46 of them solo, on kills worth more than 1.3 trillion ISK combined. On the detailed record since October 2025, capsules lead the victim list (192), followed closely by cruisers (176), combat battlecruisers (174) and battleships (145). The single most killed hull is the Ferox, 96 times, ahead of the Abaddon at 76 and the Sabre at 35. Heavy assault cruisers, interdictors, interceptors and strategic cruisers all appear in the dozens.
Where they shine
The steady head is part of the job. To a mining fleet he offered a line that belongs on every laser: “Just be smart about it, a barge is worth more than one extra cycle.” (Ice and Marbles).
He is generous with the tools, too. A personal build-cost spreadsheet, shared. A community planning tool that “will create complete shopping lists, and build chains for you,” recommended. Patient answers for oli Padecain in the mentorship channel (“1 sec lemme throw a eli5 ❤️”), and a check-in when oli was new: “all good? you finding your way around ok?” For Maggy Lee’s long build: “Some times is not about the final product, but rather the journey’s to it that make it special.”
He welcomed Fartillery in October 2025, “proudly repping Iceland and bringing even more Nordic firepower”, and in June 2025 made it clear the Icelandic group expected Larhasia Black at Fanfest. Pict1on has around a dozen Fanfests to look back on: “FF is alway great fun this year will be my 13th I think.”
Milestones
One year in TNF, and 100, 500 and 1,000 kills, with the total now well past twice that. He has also answered three questions right in the TNF Academy.
