"NOW HEAR THIS, NOW HEAR THIS!"
On November 6, 2025, every TNF member got the same message from Kloria, forwarded from the alliance with a heading lifted straight from a naval film. Sigma Grindset was going all in against Pandemic Horde in the drone regions, and the plan was not subtle: go scorched earth, and "max form as much as possible for these fleets."
What followed was one of the shortest, sharpest campaigns of TNF's year, and then one of the most generous move operations the corp has ever run.
The orders
Kloria's instructions to the corp were pure TNF, and worth quoting in full:
Old guys, help the new guys, new guys hold on to your butts.
He also dealt with the question every pilot asks when a war starts: how do I pay for this? Ratting1 time was about to dry up, and he had an answer ready. "Dont worry about ISK making right now, the corp will support you when needed while we commence the salting of dronelands."
That line is easy to skim past. It is also the reason people join corps instead of flying alone. Nobody had to choose between turning up for the alliance and keeping their hangar stocked.
Fleets on fleets
The PvP channel filled with killmails and back-slaps. In the early hours of November 6, Sllice posted one particularly satisfying kill with the full extent of his commentary: "oh my." Pict1on replied "Nice 1 dude," which in PvP-channel dialect is roughly a standing ovation.
By November 9 members were asking whether TNF would form for the next big fight. Kloria's answer was immediate and complete: "There will be a fleet."
There was.
WAR'S OVER, WE'RE GOING HOME
The campaign was short by design. On November 12 came the announcement in capital letters: "WAR'S OVER! WE'RE GOING HOME." The deployment was done, the drone lands were duly salted, and everything had to come back to Catch.
That is where the second, less glamorous half of any deployment starts. Ships, modules, ammo, the spare fit you swore you would use: all of it was sitting a long way from home.
The long haul
Kloria and Motty 007 ran trip after trip to carry members' ships, and anyone with spare room was asked to volunteer for corpmates' gear. Motty laid out the route in stages and promised nobody would be left behind:
There is no rush and there will be move ops for caps and subcaps. But my OCD tells me I have to do it now lol.
The next morning he was back, asking members to contract their items to him so he could finish quickly and free up everyone's characters to get back to playing. He signed that one: "Motty opens and shuts door three times, turns light off and on three times."
Others pitched in where they could. Maggy Lee offered spare room in her own haulers on the way back: "If anyone needs something let me know." And when Aidon Star missed the last move op by a few minutes, Motty told him to contract his three ships over: "I will get it sorted." He did.
The volume ran to millions of cubic metres. At one point Kloria gave members 30 minutes to claim space on his next run. On November 17 Motty posted a final call so nobody missed out. And for anyone who could not make it in time, the fallback was the same as always: "for people on vacation or unable to move we will work something out as always."
What it says about the corp
Deployments show a corp's character twice. Once at the start, when the pings go out and people either undock or do not. And again at the end, when the fun is over and somebody has to carry everyone's stuff home.
TNF turned up for the first part: the fleets formed, the killmails rolled in, the alliance got its scorched earth. But the part members remember is the second. The corp looked after its pilots during the fight, and Kloria and Motty spent their week as removal men so everyone else could log in and play.
Plenty of corps can win a fight. How many will still be hauling your spare ships home a week after the war ends?
