Before TNF

Galan Kodeis has been in New Eden since June 2010. After three weeks in the School of Applied Knowledge, the Caldari starter corp, Galan joined Varaneth Galan and Morgan Inc, and stayed there for thirteen years. The next and only other entry is The New Federation.

Joining TNF

Galan first flew with TNF in August 2023 and has been here ever since: 1,163 days, past the three year mark. That makes Galan one of the longer serving pilots in the corp, and the corp channels show how that time has been spent: helping other people.

Abyssal Deadspace. When Aidon Star asked where to start in June 2025, Galan wrote back a proper answer: begin at a lower tier than you think, pick a weather type that suits your damage, carry emergency boosters, and remember that “heat is your friend.” Aidon’s reply: “awesome, thanks for the tips.” For anyone curious, Galan’s general advice is the best kind: “You don’t need to spend big to learn if you like the content. Starting in tier 0 with a disposable frigate is a great idea.” (Crabbing in Catch).

Planetary industry. In August 2025 the corp industry channel produced one of its best threads, with Anhenka and Jekktarr comparing notes. Galan chimed in with hard-won advice: chasing the most valuable outputs “was a bit of a trap.” He shared his favourite template set, explained how scan accuracy works, and pointed people toward fuel block materials as the smarter target (Builders and Miners).

None of it is flashy. All of it saves a newer pilot hours of trial and error, and some of it saves them a lot of ISK.

In the fleet

When Galan turned up on a corp leaderboard in November 2025, the reaction was pure modesty: “Wait. How am I even on that list?” The answer includes 10 November 2025, when Galan was on a hostile structure worth about 238 billion ISK, another worth about 191 billion and a third worth about 16 billion, all in one day. In December came a Rorqual capital industrial ship worth about 5.1 billion ISK.

The most vivid entry is 15 February 2026. On that one day Galan was on an Eos command ship worth about 654 million ISK (listed in Kills of the Quarter: January to March 2026), a Devoter heavy interdiction cruiser, a Monitor flag cruiser, and a string of Zealots: one, two, three, four, five, each worth more than 340 million ISK.

By the numbers

Galan has 762 kills on the TNF record, on kills worth more than 1.1 trillion ISK combined. The detailed record, which begins in November 2025, holds 96 of them.

That smaller sample has a clear signature. Heavy assault cruisers make up 27 kills, and 24 of those are Zealots. Nine Armageddons account for every battleship on the list. Three citadels appear among the victims, and 32 shuttles.

Where they shine

Answering questions properly. Galan’s corp record is a mix of very large kills and very patient explanations. The kills are on zKillboard; the explanations are in the corp channels, where the next pilot with a question will find them.
