Meet Azavand Contrombria
A self-described high sec carebear who spent years deciding whether null was worth the jump. Azavand joined TNF in October 2026 and is already learning something every fleet, and filling the corp gallery with screenshots.

Before TNF
By Azavand’s own account, the road to TNF started in high sec. Azavand ran missions there and calls that life, without apology, being a carebear. Null security space was the place on the map that felt “scary”, and it took many years to commit to the journey.
The character that finally made it, Azavand Contrombria, was created in September 2026 and started in Hedion University, the Amarr starter school. Less than three weeks later came the first player corp on that record: The New Federation.
Joining TNF
Azavand joined TNF on 10 October 2026, and in Azavand’s words the transition with TNF was amazing. The first week shows why. Azavand asked how to get back for fleet calls, how to join fleets and what else was needed after the first ones, and every question got an answer. Every fleet brought a lesson: “learn more each fleet.”
By the end of that week came a thank you to Meowlicious: “Thanks Meow! Got to practice what you showed me yesterday, good stuff.”
From high sec to null
For anyone reading this from a mission hub, wondering the same thing Azavand wondered for years, the verdict after the jump is short and in Azavand’s own words: “I’ve never made a better choice in New Eden.”
The eye behind the camera
Azavand is one of the busiest contributors to the corp’s screenshot channel. Seven of Azavand’s shots are in the TNF gallery, from planets in silhouette and amber nebulae to the TNF logo in a station. A few of them sit on this page, and the rest are further down.
What comes next
No kills on the record yet, and that is fine for a pilot in the first weeks of null life. The questions are the right ones, the fleets keep coming, and the camera is always running. Welcome to TNF, Azavand.
