Aubrey Maturin

Before TNF

Aubrey Maturin has been in New Eden since May 2009, starting in the State War Academy, the Caldari starter corp. Perkone, the Caldari NPC corp, was the home between moves for years. The early player corps were The Golden Rule, Full Bore Inc, Endless Possibilities Inc., THORN Syndicate, RennTech, Parabellum Diligentia, The Replicators, Red Federation and Stargate SG-1, all between 2009 and 2012. Blue Republic and Intent Unspecified followed in 2014, then DarkSide Incorporated from 2016, Time Honored Traditions and Quantum Cats Syndicate in 2019, and Super Sneks in 2022.

Joining TNF, twice

Aubrey first flew with TNF in November 2022 and has close to two years with the corporation in total. The latest chapter began at the start of October 2026: “hey y’all, finally was able to accept the invite to join,” followed almost immediately by the most honest question in corp chat, whereabouts in Catch to head (“lol I have no idea.”).

Within a day he was asking the right questions, joking that the corp needed to get him “up to speed on everything thats changed since like 2023”. He asked about getting contracts priced, admitted to knowing “only enough to hurt myself,” and confessed a soft spot for “flying around and finding new (to me) green stations.” He also spotted an escalation while ratting and offered it to corpmates rather than let it go to waste.

Then came the line at the top of this page, written as Harrat returned to the CEO chair and quoted in The Founder Returns as the best review of the transition. Faces of TNF: Six Pilots Who Make the Corp Tick filed all of it under first week energy, and called it the TNF spirit in week one.

In the fleet

Aubrey’s philosophy of combat fits in one sentence: “Point the bad guy, shoot him more than he shoots you.”

The record suggests it works. On 11 October 2026, nine days into the new stint, he was the only name on a Vagabond, a solo heavy assault cruiser kill.

By the numbers

• 90 kills on the TNF record
• On kills worth more than 15 billion ISK combined
• 1 solo kill
• 7 Academy answers right, with a best streak of 3

Welcome home, Aubrey.
