Meet PotatoShips
PotatoShips started EVE in May 2026, joined TNF two days later, and announced it with the best first message a corp could ask for.
- 150days in TNF
- 2days from first login to TNF
Before TNF
PotatoShips is new to New Eden. The character was created on 19 May 2026 and spent two days in the Science and Trade Institute, the Caldari starter corporation, before joining The New Federation on 21 May. TNF is the first and only player corporation on the record.
Joining TNF
PotatoShips first flew with TNF in May 2026, and the first message in corp chat set the tone: “yay im in.”
It did not take long to notice how much of TNF chats in Icelandic. The corp has a lot of Icelanders, and they are not quiet about it. The conclusion followed the next day: “So I might as well learn it 🤣🥲😭” The moment is recorded in Faces of TNF: The Quiet Ones and the New Ones.

PotatoShips
So far
As of October 2026, PotatoShips has 150 days in the corp. The killboard is still a blank page, which for a pilot this new is exactly where every TNF veteran started. The Icelandic lessons are presumably ongoing. Both count as progress.
