Before TNF

Melkafet has been in New Eden since March 2009, starting out in State War Academy, the Caldari starter school. A month later he joined his first player corporation, Legion Du Lys, and stayed through 2009.

The years that followed show a pilot moving between player corps with Caldari Provisions, an NPC corporation, as the regular stop in between. There were spells in State Protectorate, the Caldari militia corporation, in 2010, 2012 and 2013. Among the player corps: Specters Corporation (twice, in 2010 and 2014), Dreddit in 2011, Incertae Sedis, Red Horizon Inc and Paragon Fury in 2011, Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse at the end of 2012, The Placeholder Corporation in 2013 and Valar Morghulis. in 2014.

In February 2026 he joined Remlok Industries, and a month later he was on his way to TNF.

Joining TNF

Melkafet first flew with TNF in March 2026 and announced his arrival with a waving GIF (Word Gets Around). That set the tone. When a new pilot was accepted in September, the reply was a GIF that said “you’re in.” When a fleet ping went out, the reply was a GIF that said “on my way.” He is a regular on the welcome committee too, keeping the welcome GIFs coming for the winter arrivals and again for September’s new arrivals.

He wasted no time. On 25 March 2026, a few days after joining, he was on a Minokawa force auxiliary worth about 6.8 billion ISK, with a Raven Navy Issue on the same day. Three days later, on 28 March, he was on a Zirnitra dreadnought worth about 6.6 billion ISK, alongside Amarils Deka and Frost Ikkala, and two Damnation command ships, one and two, about 500 million ISK each. The Minokawa and the Zirnitra both made the January to March 2026 roundup.

On 27 June 2026 he was the only TNF pilot on a Nestor worth about 1.5 billion ISK, listed in Kills of the quarter: April to June 2026, and on a Loki the same day.

By the numbers

Melkafet has 267 kills on the TNF record, on kills worth more than 83 billion ISK combined, across 27 ship classes by the leadership bio’s count.

The pattern on the detailed record is unusually sharp. Battleships make up 117 of his kills, and 89 of those are Maelstroms, the single hull he has helped kill most by a wide margin. Apocalypses (14) and Armageddons (8) add to the battleship tally. Heavy assault cruisers are next with 34, and 31 of those are Zealots. Then come 16 capsules, 11 command ships (6 of them Vultures), 9 combat battlecruisers, 7 cruisers, 6 assault frigates, 6 attack battlecruisers (6 Tornados on the hull list), 5 destroyers, 5 interdictors, 5 haulers and 4 logistics cruisers. Hurricanes (6), Squalls (5) and Talwars (4) fill out the hull list.

Where he shines

Battleship fights. More than four in ten of the kills on his detailed record are battleships, and the Maelstrom alone accounts for a third. Off the field, he is part of the corp’s welcome committee, one GIF at a time.
